Used plug-in hybrids are quickly losing popularity – electric cars are getting hotter

More people instead go directly to purely electric cars, data from the buying and selling site Blocket shows.

– It seems that plug-in hybrids have become significantly less popular than before, says Marcin Stepman, market expert at Blocket.

Plug-in hybrid cars, which used to be very popular, are now losing interest among second-hand speculators. What used to be the natural step towards electrification for many who drove a petrol or diesel car is no longer as obvious. Now it seems that more people instead go directly to a purely electric car.
