See SVT’s interview with Oscar Lindberg in the player above.
Oscar Lindberg was superior in the regular season where for a while he looked like breaking Håkan Loob’s scoring record but in the end stopped at 30 goals and 37 assists for 67 points in 52 games.
In the playoffs, he continued to lead Skellefteå and scored five goals and nine assists.
Third gold and second MVP
For that, he was awarded the Stefan Liv Memorial Trophy, each of which goes to the playoffs’ most valuable player.
An award he also won in 2013.
– We have played good hockey all season and managed to get better and peak here in the playoffs. It’s crazy fun, says Lindberg, who has now won three SM gold medals.
He left injured in the third period but returned at the end of the game.
– I was very worried myself, but it subsided after a little while and I was able to come back and contribute a little, he says.
