Paula was planning to cook chicken but lost her appetite when she opened the packaging from Eldorado. She found a frozen fly stuck to one of the chicken drumsticks.
“I opened a completely new package and saw something that made me nauseous,” she says.
Paula Marjeta Arnarson had been to Willys in Ronneby to buy food for a dinner party.
The guests were supposed to have chicken in curry sauce with rice, but when Paula opened the package of chicken drumsticks from Eldorado, she made an unpleasant discovery: a frozen fly was stuck to one of the drumsticks. “Yuck, I don’t want to eat that.”
There was no chicken for the guests that evening.
“I told my husband that I’m throwing away all the chicken and making something else. He wondered why, and I didn’t want to tell him because then I didn’t know if he had eaten anything at all.
Paula has contacted Axfood but has not received a response yet.
“I will never buy Eldorado’s chicken drumsticks again,” she says.
