Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Group plans to build the world’s largest data center in Jamnagar, India, focused on AI. It will use Nvidia’s AI hardware, run on green energy, and have a capacity of three gigawatts, far surpassing current global data centers. India’s total data center capacity today is less than one gigawatt. Ambani aims to offer low-cost AI inference, which can otherwise be expensive for companies due to high computing demands.
